Who is aneemo training designed for?
aneemo's training is used by frontline professionals working on the ground supporting people experiencing multiple disadvantage. We provide training for frontline roles, team managers and leadership teams across NHS Trusts, local authorities, housing associations, homelessness charities and voluntary sector organisations.
Who creates the aneemo training content?
All aneemo's training content is designed, developed and delivered by leading clinical experts and lived experience leads, meaning our training reflects decades of experience and relevance, giving learners confidence in knowledge they can trust.
All content production is overseen by our founder and CEO, Dr Emma Williamson, a recognised leader in the sector with over 20 years as a Clinical Psychologist and former NHS practitioner for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
Is aneemo CPD accredited?
Yes. aneemo is an accredited provider with The CPD Certification Service (provider no. 12571). All aneemo courses provide independent CPD accreditation, so they count toward the professional development requirements of staff across health, social care and the voluntary sector.
Do you only offer online training?
No. aneemo offers a range of training methods including digital, and blended live training in person or online, delivered by leading national and international experts including experts by experience. All training is CPD accredited and bespoke content can be tailored to meet your needs.
What are your most popular courses?
We have a wide selection of CPD accredited courses: overarching frameworks (Psychologically Informed Environments, Trauma Informed Approaches, Strengths-Based Approaches); specific client group needs (Working With Women With Complex Needs, Working with People Who Commit Offences, Substance Use, Brain Injury); risk and safety courses; and tools and therapeutic approaches. Most organisations buy bundles made up of a framework, a client group need and a therapeutic approach.
What sectors does aneemo work with?
aneemo works primarily with the health and social care sector including NHS Trusts, local authorities, housing associations, homelessness charities, voluntary sector organisations and criminal justice services. Our courses are relevant wherever frontline professionals support people experiencing multiple disadvantage or complex needs.
Why is aneemo different from other online training?
Courses are created by clinical experts and lived experience leads, so content reflects frontline reality. Learning is bitesize, video-based and CPD-accredited: 96% of learners report increased confidence, 98% would recommend a course, and the 39% completion rate is more than double the industry average of 12 to 15%.
Understanding trauma-informed practice
What is trauma-informed training?
Trauma-informed training equips professionals to understand how trauma affects the behaviour and needs of the people they work with, and to adapt their practice accordingly. It helps staff reduce re-traumatisation, build trust with the people they support, and improve outcomes for people facing complex needs.
What is a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE)?
A Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) is an approach to service design and staff practice that takes account of the psychological and emotional needs of the people using a service, particularly those who have experienced trauma. aneemo's training is built around PIE principles, supporting organisations to embed this approach across their teams.
What is the difference between trauma-informed care and trauma-specific services?
Trauma-informed care is a whole-organisation approach: it shapes how all staff interact with the people they support, regardless of role. Trauma-specific services are targeted clinical interventions designed to treat trauma directly. aneemo's training focuses on trauma-informed care, equipping every member of a team to work more safely and effectively with people who have experienced trauma.
How does trauma-informed training improve staff practice?
Trauma-informed training helps staff recognise the signs of trauma, understand how it affects behaviour, and respond in ways that feel safe rather than threatening. Organisations using aneemo training report increased staff confidence, improved team culture, and better outcomes for people experiencing multiple disadvantage.

Pricing and licences
Prices are being aligned with Teachable (tracker d25). Figures marked are from the current site and may change.
How much does aneemo training cost?
Individual courses are £33.53 + VAT (£40.24 inc VAT) per person: one course, access for as long as you need it. Bulk licences come with a bundle discount. An annual licence, from £342 + VAT per person, gives each learner the full library for twelve months. Confirm after price alignment For a quote tailored to your organisation, email contact@aneemo.com with the courses and number of people you have in mind.
What is included in an aneemo licence?
Every licence includes the full video-based course, downloadable worksheets and resources, a CPD certificate on completion and technical support. Bulk and annual licences add custom reporting, a dedicated account manager and the ability to allocate courses across your team as you need them.
What is the difference between an individual licence, bulk licences and an annual licence?
An individual licence is one person, one course, for as long as they need it. Bulk licences are courses bought in volume for a team, with discounts that grow with the number of licences. An annual licence gives each learner the full library for twelve months, with priority access to new courses, and is usually the best value for staff who will work through three or more courses in a year.
Do you offer discounts on aneemo courses?
Yes. Bundle discounts apply when you buy multiple licences, and larger organisations such as local authorities, NHS Trusts, housing associations and bigger charities can talk to us about volume pricing. Two of our courses are grant-funded and free to access.
Can we pay by invoice or raise a purchase order?
Yes. Organisations can buy aneemo training on invoice rather than by card. Email your purchase order, or a request for a quote, to contact@aneemo.com with the courses and number of licences you need. We issue the invoice, and once it is approved we enrol your team and send everyone their login details. If your finance team needs supplier details or a specific PO format, just ask. Confirm process and terms with Amelia
Do prices include VAT?
Individual course prices on this site are shown including VAT, because that is what you pay at checkout. Organisation prices are shown excluding VAT, because that is how they appear on an invoice. VAT is 20%. Confirm after price alignment
Is there support for smaller charities that cannot afford full pricing?
Yes. We are committed to accessible, low-cost training for organisations supporting people experiencing multiple disadvantage and complex needs, particularly within the health, social care and voluntary sectors.
We currently offer two grant-funded training courses that are free to access, and we actively seek opportunities to expand funded provision. We also work closely with the Frontline Network, which provides funding for frontline workers or teams who have identified training that would support their work with people experiencing homelessness.
In addition, aneemo works directly with organisations to explore flexible pricing aligned to budgets, develop tailored approaches, and offer tiered discounts for multiple licence purchases. Our aim is that cost is not a barrier to high-quality, CPD-accredited, trauma-informed training.
Is there funding available for frontline workers to access training?
Yes. If you are a frontline worker or team working with people experiencing homelessness and your organisation cannot fund training, the Frontline Network training fund offers up to £500 for individuals and up to £1,500 for groups. Details and how to apply are at frontlinenetwork.org.uk/training/training-fund. aneemo also offers two grant-funded courses free of charge.
Buying for a team
Can we train our whole team through aneemo?
Yes. Over 800 organisations across 39 countries use aneemo, including 160+ local authorities, 50+ NHS Trusts and 600+ charities. CONFIRM figures Tell us roughly how many people and which courses on the For organisations page and we will come back with options.
How do we enrol our staff on aneemo?
Email contact@aneemo.com or use the enquiry form, and tell us which courses you are interested in and roughly how many people. We come back with a quote, and once it is approved we enrol your team and send each person their own login details. Learners then complete courses at their own pace on any device, and for larger roll-outs a dedicated account manager helps you plan the programme and track completion.
Can managers see who has completed their training?
Yes. Bulk and annual licences include reporting, so managers can see who has started, who is part-way through and who has completed each course across the team, and CPD certificates are issued automatically on completion.
Can training be customised for our organisation?
Yes. aneemo offers bespoke course development for organisations that need training tailored to their specific context, service model or branding. Live training and blended learning options are also available alongside the online platform. A dedicated account manager and expert clinical support can advise on the design and roll-out of workforce development programmes.
